Think you got what it takes to win? The Ring

Attention all racers here’s your chance to prove it. The Mo-Power Events MCG Points series roars back on track for 2012, and will encompass three races taking place in Ohio. This year, events will begin at National Trail Raceway on May 18-20 with a Double Race Weekend and then move on to Kilkare Dragway July 28-29 in Xenia, Ohio for another dose of Mopar vs. The World and then we wrap up the points chase at Summit Raceway Park in Norwalk, Ohio in September 14-16 at the Mopar World Finals. Racers will compete in seven classes, Quick, Hemi, Max Wedge, Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and compile points at each race. At the end of the year, one Mopar points champion will be crowned from each class, giving them bragging rights and The Ring for being one of the best Mopar racers in the country.

Now for the Car Show side The Mopar World Finals in Norwalk Ohio will be the only judged event where the baddest show cars battle it out. We offer five categories Pure stock, Semi stock, Modified, Extreme Modified and Modern Muscle. So if you think you got what it takes to compete against the baddest Mopars around we want to see you at Norwalk Sept. 14-16 the class winners will be announced that weekend. Remember you can’t buy the The Ring you have to EARN it either on the track or the show field.

At every Mo-Power Event you can display your car in what we call MOPAR ALLEY this is a non-judged show field open to all Mopars from classics to modern muscle. The Top 15-25 cars selected at each event will receive an award All Mopar Alley cars are welcome to participant in the show car parade on Sunday.

All points’ racers MUST have an active MCG ($35 all access) subscription to be eligible for the points chase. That entitles you to a twelve-month subscription to MCG with all the race coverage, online access to additional content, early points results, and two Mopar points racing contingency decals that must be displayed on the car being raced (show cars are exempt). Call MCG today and we’ll make sure your subscription is active for the 2012 season - 225-274-0609. For 2012, the rules and classes remain very parallel to that of 2011, so read it carefully and get your car ready for another exciting season!
