2011 Car Show Classes and Rules
Mo-Power Events
We offer concourse judging for Chrysler Family Brand Only.
A judged show entry participant will be professionally team-judged, with vehicles of different body style competing against one another. The Mo-Power Event with the help of Dave Wise remains the standard by which other Chrysler shows are judged.
Judging Categories Vehicles are judged in five (5) main categories:
Pure Stock
Semi-Stock
Modified
Extreme Modified
Modern Muscle
Participants are eligible for only one class per vehicle.
Pure Stock Class open to cars 1974 & older

Semi Stock Class
There must be 3 or more cars in a class to receive award.
This class is for stock-appearing Mopars that have minor changes and modifications from stock that enhance the vehicle’s appearance and functional performance. Attention to detail fit and finish will be scored in all areas.
The following modifications will be allowed in this class:
After market tires and rims.
After market valve covers, ignition (wires, distributor) and carburetors.
After market anti-sway bars.
After market radios.
Non-stock exhaust manifolds, mufflers, head and tail pipes and related mounting hardware.
Base coat/clear paint.
NOTE:
The undercarriage will not be judged.
Modified Class
There must be 3 or more cars in a class to receive award.
This class is for a vehicle that has basically a stock appearing body. This vehicle will be judged on the quality of the modifications. The overall package is what matters and how well everything is tied together. Attention to detail fit and finish will be scored in all areas.
EXTERIOR:
After market tires and rims allowed.
Non-stock exhaust manifolds, mufflers, head and tail pipes and related mounting hardware allowed.
After market radio allowed
Scoops allowed but nothing sticking through hood scoop
Custom paint allowed
All plating, paint, electrical etc...under the hood will be judged
INTERIOR:
Custom interior must have stock style seats.
Dash must be stock style, after market gauges allowed.
NOTE:
The undercarriage will not be judged.
EXTREME MODIFIED (Street Legal)
There must be 3 or more cars in a class to receive award.
This class is for vehicles that are heavily modified. Custom paint, custom interior/dash or tubbed, high-rise manifold, blower, and so on. Vehicles will be judged on the owner's creativity and craftsmanship of the vehicle. The more the vehicle is modified the better. The overall package is what matters and how well everything is tied together. Attention to detail fit and finish will be scored in all areas.
Body modifications allowed; i.e. tubbed or back halved.
Blowers allowed.
Roll bars allowed.
Any aftermarket products allowed; i.e. seats, gauges, dashes, etc
NOTE:
The undercarriage will not be judged.
MODERN MUSCLE ( open to 2005 and newer)
There must be 3 or more cars in a class to receive award.
This class is for the new era of Muscle car and is open to 2005 and newer Mopar performance vehicles (including trucks)
Factory production muscle cars & trucks only (NO Clone vehicles permitted in the class)
Modifications allowed: any aftermarket radio, exhaust, tires or rims without deductions.
Additional modifications may add or deduct from your score depending on the detail and creativity of the modification.

The Mo-Power Events/MCG Mopar World Finals
Sept. 16-18, 2011
Summit Motorsports Park, Norwalk, Ohio
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
The judged competition consists of a limited amount of chosen by Invitation only participants. These Invite cars have been selected at previous Mo-Power Events shows also at other automotive events across the country, by Mo-Power Events staff and other professionals; magazine & restoration experts in the Mopar and muscle car community.
Vehicles selected to participant in the Mo-Power Events/MCG Mopar World Finals competition must be registered and presented by their owner. No vehicle can be entered under the name of a business. The competition vehicle must be owned by an individual and registered to an individual.
All competitors must be on the grounds no later than 11a.m. Saturday. Participants may arrive Friday and judging will begin Friday.
Owners must make all areas of the vehicle available to the judging team. Failure to do so will result in zero points for any area that is not accessible. Vehicle must remain on the show field until all judging is completed on Saturday.
All participants will be photographed.
By participating in the competition, the vehicle owner agrees to allow photos of his or her vehicle to be used in promotion for the event, including but not limited to, press releases, web site, and MCG Magazine event coverage.
All competitors will be required to be a subscriber to MCG Magazine
A copy of your judging form is not available at the show. Participants may request a copy of their judging form by mail only. To request a copy, please send a Self addressed Stamped envelope to: Mo-Power Events P.O.Box 189 Groveport, Ohio 43125. A copy of your judging sheet will be returned to you.
Each class will consist of 15 participants in 5 classes. The TOP 5 participants in each class will be announced Sunday; any class that does not meet the required participants will be reduced to the TOP 3.
All participants that place in the TOP of each class will receive cash and prizes at the Awards banquet.
The 2011 Champion Ring will only be awarded to the winner of each class.
The TOP participants are required to attend the 2011 Mo-Power Events/ MCG Awards banquet to find out the results of the competition or forfeit your winnings.
Our mission is to select the Best of The Best Mopars from Stock to Radical across the US to compete in this competition.
