Quick 16 Rules

1. Class:
Quick races will be contested in fields split equally between full bodied and open bodied drag cars. Full bodied cars must be Chrysler bodied and Chrysler powered. Open bodied cars including dragsters, altered and roadsters must be Chrysler powered, funny cars must be Chrysler bodied and Chrysler powered. Races will be a 1/8 mile, .500 second full tree, on a dial-in with a breakout rule in effect. Any transmission will be allowed.
All vehicles must meet NHRA safety requirements for vehicles equipment and elapsed time.
2. Qualifying:
Qualifying will be determined by the quickest elapsed time of each vehicle. Contestants will receive three qualifying runs. Qualifying runs will apply towards your total event time trial allotment. Elapsed times during designated Qualifiers are the ONLY excepted qualifiers.
Full bodied cars must run a minimum of 5.70 in order to qualify.
Open bodied vehicles must run a minimum of 5.40 in order to qualify.
3. Chassis:
All vehicles in this class must have current NHRA SFI chassis certification sticker. 4. Electronics Permitted:

5. Ladder:
This class will be laddered on a Sportsman ladder with 8 full bodied cars on a ladder and 8 open bodied cars on a ladder. The winners of each ladder will race in the finals.
Mo-Power Events reserves the right to fill the field with qualified vehicles.
6. Lane Choice:
Lane choice will be give to the higher qualifier car in each pair. Lane Choice in the finals will be decided by a coin toss, heads will represent the full bodied side and tails the open bodied side.
7. Qualified Cars:
Maximum dial-in for full bodied cars is 5.90. Competitors may not dial more the .20-seconds slower or faster then there qualifying time.
Maximum dial-in for open bodied cars is 5.60. Competitors may not dial more the .20-seconds slower or faster then there qualifying time.
Any car that has qualified and can not compete in eliminations must report to the Race Director no later then 30 minutes after final qualifier so alternates can be notified. If breakage occurs after cars have been called to the lanes and paired, the competitor paired with the broken car will receive a competition bye. 8. Additional Requirements:
All dragsters competing in the class are required to run a diaper.
All door cars competing in the class are required to run a diaper if applicable
